Bible“Be responsive to your leaders. Listen to their counsel. They are alert to the condition of your lives and work under the strict supervision of God. Contribute to the joy of their leadership, not its drudgery. Why would you want to make these things harder for them?”  (Hebrews 13:17, Message).

One of the great sins of the American church is complaining about those in authority over us. God does not call us to complain about our leaders but support them.

Here’s how:

Initiate in saying ‘thank you’ & in giving.
Never display a bad attitude
Follow through on a task or a commitment.
Look for ways to make a difference, and then do it.
Understand them and love them unconditionally.
Equip those within the area of your responsibility.
Never just sit back—be an active volunteer.
Carry your responsibility with joy.
Embrace growth for yourself and the organization.
